Rocksolid

RockSolid is a program that offers support to children and young people 0 – 17 yrs who are living in a family impacted by mental health living in the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee LGA. The program will use an early intervention framework to engage this cohort of children and young people to access services, resources and support.

RockSolid caseworkers will work with you through engagement strategies including home visits and out of office visits. The RockSolid workers will become the key worker with the child and young person and their families in collaborating with other services and in supporting them through activity days and camps. The program will be structured around providing fun day activities that will focus on building resilience, relationships and skill building in a fun and positive environment. These days will lead into the camps where the skills learnt can be developed in a setting and environment away from the home. The children, young people and their families will be made aware of their rights and will have them respected while using the service. Referrals from individuals, families or agencies can be made by phone or email.
