Challenging Behaviours – Brief Therapy Solutions

Brief Therapy Solutions provides specialised assessment and therapeutic interventions, as well as mentoring programs aimed at addressing the complexities associated with behavioural disorders, attachment issues and associated mental health issues in children, young people and their families.

Community Links Wellbeing and Brief Therapy Solutions have formed a partnership to offer workshops to help families better cope with children with challenging and explosive behaviour and attachment concerns.

Financial Counselling – The Salvation Army (Money Care)

Salvation Army MoneyCare financial counselling is a specialised service assisting people with debt and other financial issues. It is a free and confidential services that assists people through their financial crisis and in developing money-managing skills for long term rehabilitation.  Please call on 4683 2776 to make an appointment.

Macarthur Legal – Free Legal Advice

This free Legal Advice service sis provided to anyone living in the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee areas, provided your legal matter is covered by our service.  The legal issues covered by our Centre include credit and debt, Discrimination Law, Family Law, Wills, Power Of Attorney, Guardianship, fines, Consumer complaints, Centrelink, Victims Compensation and Employment Law.  You can seek assistance from our Centre if you would like general legal information , if you need to know your rights or simply would like to discuss your legal problem with a solicitor.

Macarthur Gateway Resource Service 

Provides support, advocacy and information to Aboriginal women with or without dependent children. Our service includes case management, sustaining tenancy, assistance with homelessness, brokerage for rental arrears, transport and food vouchers.

One Door Mental Health

One Door Carer Services runs the Family and Carer Mental Health Program in partnership with the Local Health Districts (LHSs). This program is fully funded and gives carers, family and friends of people living with mental illness to Carers Advocates who provide:

Information on mental illness, services available and other information that helps them best care for their loved one.

Education on caring skills and understanding how to manage mental illness.
Where appropriate, advocacy to ensure carers get the information and services they require.

Emotional support both by phone and in person.
