Child and Family Programs
The Child and Family Worker helps support the Wollondilly community by providing Parenting Programs, Supported Play Group and Family Fun Days for families with children 0-8 years. They also provide parenting tips for Young mums and Carers. The goal is to strengthen the relationship between parents and their children as well as strengthen the links between families and their community.

Tahmoor Supported Playgroup provides a safe environment for children and families to socialise and get support from the Child and Family Worker. Information on child development, parenting strategies and other topics regarding children and families are also shared. The Tahmoor Supported Playgroup is held on Thursdays between 9.00am-10.30am at the Tahmoor Community Centre during school terms. A referral is required for parents wanting to access this service. Referrals are accepted from support services or parents can self refer but must meet the specified criteria.

Triple P - Positive Parenting Program

Youth Services
The Youth Team provides services for young people in Wollondilly, the Team’s strengths are in their experience and expertise in providing quality and nationally recognised programs for young people. The team has been successfully delivering youth programs for disengaged young people in schools and communities for over 15 years.

The Youth Services Officer runs and organises youth activities and groups for 11-24 year olds in the Wollondilly Shire. This includes running Drop In, School Holiday activities and community events. The Youth Services Officer also provides information to youth and families on services and activities and can support young people in a number of ways. One of these is by assessing the needs of young people and advocating for and providing services to meet those needs.

The Adolescent Support Worker supports young people 12-24 years of age who are dealing with issues including homelessness, communication breakdown with parents or other family members, relationships, legal matters and unemployment.

UpFront Youth Services
This service provides accommodation and support to homeless and at risk young people living in Wollondilly and Wingecarribee. Community Links Wellbeing works with homeless young people aged between 12 and 18.
UpFront Youth Services supports young people regardless of cultural, religion, sexual orientation, health, or mistakes they may have made.
All young people who come to UpFront will be supported to secure housing, ensure their personal safety and provide an opportunity to build a future for themselves.
