Drumbeat is an evidence based program that uses African Djembe drums to engage young people and help develop persistence, patience and commitment. The program involves students learning drumming rhythms and playing together as a group. It focuses on listening and teamwork skills to improve cooperative attitudes and improve the ability to focus attention.
