The Wollondilly Heritage Centre & Museum is a community resource for research into local and family history which has an extensive archive catalogue incorporating the Liz Vincent Collection, the Yerranderie Collection and the digitised Yerranderie Burragorang archives. Managed by trained volunteers from The Oaks Historical Society, the collection also contains artefacts which are used in displays to tell the stories of Burragorang Valley, Yerranderie and Wollondilly shire. Drumbeat is an evidence based program that uses African Djembe drums to engage young people and help develop persistence, patience and commitment. The program involves students learning drumming rhythms and playing together as a group. It focuses on listening and teamwork skills to improve cooperative attitudes and improve the ability to focus attention.
