Our Mission
Community Links Wollondilly works with individuals, families and communities of the Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee Local Government Areas to build a strong and viable infrastructure that will support disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the community and provide them with the capacity to effectively manage their lives.
Our Goals
The organisation has prioritised the following goals for the period 2010-2012 which will bring Community Links Wollondilly Incorporated’s Business and Strategic Plan in line.
Work collaboratively with community and local, state and federal government agencies to advocate for increased provision of services in the Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee LGAs that are modelled on good practice principals and identified needs.
Form long term partnerships with the corporate and business sectors of Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee LGAs to increase opportunities of service delivery for disadvantaged and vulnerable members of these communities.
Develop informed community consultation through: an increased associate membership base and opportunities for targeted feedback; relevant and accessible communication between government, community, corporate and business partners and peak organisations; application of the results based accountability framework in evaluating and reporting on service delivery; and consistent support and participation in community events and activities in the Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee LGAs.
Promote the organisation’s capacity to provide programs, implement projects and deliver groups and activities in the Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee LGAs.
Increase the Management Committee’s and workers’ capacity to deliver quality programs through valuable and relevant professional development and training.
Adopt a strengths based approach to service delivery in Wollondilly, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee LGAs to provide a continuum of services that build on the attributes and assets that already exist in these communities.
