Indigenous Community BBQ This is a community BBQ for Aboriginal families and their friends to get together to share cultural stories and find out what is happening in their community. Health, educational resources and services are also available at these events.
Sibworks - Sibling Support Group This program aims to provide an opportunity for kids to have a fun experience, connect with other siblings, better understand their brother or sister's special needs, share their feelings with others who understand and develop coping skills for the future.
Supported Playgroups are fun and welcoming to new members. They provide support from the Child and Family worker on child development, parenting strategies and other topics for families in the local area.
Wollondilly Aspergers Action Group This group works towards making a difference and opening up the channel of communication for those diagnosed with Aspergers, their families and Carers.
Wollondilly Aspergers Share Sessions are an opportunity to gather and share information about Aspergers. Regular guest speakers will be presenting information. Childcare is available at the day sessions.
Young Mother's Support Groups Community Links is running the Karitane program called ‘Women as Mothers’. This group runs over 5 weeks and looks at different aspects of motherhood including birthing experiences, enjoying baby, communication and self care. There will be handouts and freebies each week.
Little Fella's Group is an after school program catering for children 6-12 years old. This program provides enjoyable activities in a safe environment that encourages positive social skills. Activities include cooking, craft, physical activities and lots more.
Haven Coffee Mornings are for Carers of a person with a mental health concern. These are a great opportunity to meet and socialise with others.
Drop In arvo is an afternoon youth group run in partnership with Burnside Macarthur Reconnect. The program provides a safe space for young people to socialise as well as connect with youth services. Activities include learning guitar, playing pool, Wii, footy, cooking or making t-shirts.
Warrayites is a monthly youth group run in partnership with Warragamba/Silverdale Neighbourhood Centre. The group seeks to provide fun social activities for young people and to build connections to youth services. Activities include BBQ's, art/media workshops, outings, sports and more.
