CHILD AND FAMILY WORKER Print E-mail

Work closely with existing children and family services.  Develop information kits, establish and support local community advocacy groups and co-facilitate/facilitate group work at night and on weekends.  Participate in the Macarthur Families First implementation group.

 
A PARENTING, EDUCATION AND LITERACY SCHEME Print E-mail
To facilitate groups across the two LGA's of Wollondilly and Wingecaribee that encourages and enhances parents and their children 0-8 years, skills in language development, literacy and communication.  These sessions will be facilitated in local villages that do not necessarily have access to a public library close by.
 
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Print E-mail

Research, develop, promote and organize activities, services and resources that address the needs of the community.  To lead the Community Development and Youth Team.  Acquisition of information and resources to service identified needs of Wollondilly community.  To provide information, activities, groups and resources at the community centre and on an outreach basis to isolated communities in Local Government Area.

 
SPECIAL NEEDS WORKER Print E-mail

Works with families where there is a child with a disability, 0-12 years in a developmental and supportive role.  Assisting the family to identify and achieve their own goals in areas such as life skills, family and community relationships.

 
INTAKE WORKER Print E-mail

Co-ordinate the transfer of information, referrals, group bookings and hall hire between the community and the relevant internal key stakeholders.  Takes referrals for each service and undertakes assessment of family’s individuals suitability for service.  Supports new referrals prior to allocation to casework.

 
ADOLESCENT SUPPORT WORKER Print E-mail

Co-ordinate a case managed service, monitor and follow up on interventions to ensure successful outcomes for the young person that is identified by them and goal focused.

 
FAMILY SUPPORT CASEWORK Print E-mail

Assist families achieve their goals by the development and support of appropriate strategies on an individual, family or group setting in theWollondilly and Camden Shires.

 
CAMDEN GENERALIST FAMILY WORKER Print E-mail

Works with families in a development and supportive role in assisting families to identify their goals and to achieve them.  Areas may include life skills and family and community relationships.

 
RURAL ENGAGEMENT AND RESPITE EDUCATION SERVICE Print E-mail

Providing a series of free workshops, talks and events that engage, support, inform and educate carers and the community about the roles and needs of carers, the needs of people with a mental illness and the range of respite services available in the community.
